Position: Project Architect
The project lasted from 2012-2014, and included demolition of the existing elementary school for the new replacement school. Demolition drawings were prepared in addition to the programming and documents necessary for new construction. This project was a state funded project and required regular submissions at each for review by the school facilities team as well as the state agency funding the project. As the project architect, Ms. Wildman facilitated town forum style meetings with the school district early in the process to engage the community in the new school project. This is the school district’s first LEED Certified Gold school building, utilizing the United States Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system. It is also unique in that it is their only school utilizing architectural pre-cast concrete wall panels for the wall construction.
Project was completed while working for M+A Architects.
